AND FOR THAT: I AM RESPONSIBLE.


The Alcathon committee is a joint committee of District 25 and WAI that is responsible for planning and organizing AA alcathons typically held on major holidays (e.g., Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, July 4th). The alcathons are jointly supported and funded by District 25 and WAI.

Holiday alcathons will again be held at Salem Covenant Church in Worcester.

Groups wanting a slot at the Thanksgiving Eve & Day Alcathon, Christmas Eve & Day Alcathon, and New Year's Eve & Day Alcathon must submit an email request by Nov 1 to alcathon@aaworecester.org. In your submission email,  please include (along with your group's name, town, & meeting day/time) which alcathon(s) your group is interested in. 

A random drawing for alcathon slots will occur at the November 2nd Alcathon Committee Zoom meeting (for Zoom details, see below or the WAI calendar).

The committee holds a monthly planning meeting on the 1st Monday at 7 pm via Zoom. For more information email alcathon@aaworcester.org.
